The so-called ‘diamond leather of the sea’ is a fascinating material, which is highlighted by its mesmerising appearance, combined with remarkable robustness. The inside is lined with delicate calf nubuck leather in our signature dark purple, assuring great wearing comfort. CITY ANGEL has been manufactured using a highly labour intensive process to guarantee that every detail is perfect. By way of example, the contrast yarn stitches as well as the edge processing are handmade in Germany.
Features
Working with pearl ray leather requires a huge amount of skill and know-how. The skins of this Asian food fish have been stripped and polished in an enormously intensive process to level the little horny beads and make them shine like a mosaic in the coloured leather.
